Description

Bite-size salmon pieces air fried until tender and coated with a light maple, soy, garlic, and lemon glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated
  • 2 sliced scallions, for serving

Instructions

  1. Dry and season: Pat the salmon cubes dry, then toss gently with olive oil, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the glaze: Stir the maple syrup, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic together. Reserve half in a clean bowl for serving.
  3. Preheat and arrange: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for 3 minutes. Arrange the salmon in one layer.
  4. Air fry: Cook for 4 minutes, turn gently, and brush with the non-reserved glaze.
  5. Finish safely: Cook for 3 to 4 minutes more until the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) or is opaque and flakes easily.
  6. Glaze and serve: Transfer to a clean bowl, toss with the reserved glaze, and finish with scallions.

Notes

Salmon cube size and appliance strength change the timing. Fish should reach 145°F (63°C), or cook until opaque and easily separated with a fork.
