Description

Halved Brussels sprouts air fried until crisp and finished with balsamic glaze and finely grated Parmesan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sprouts: Trim the ends, remove damaged leaves, and halve the Brussels sprouts from stem to top.
  2. Season: Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until lightly coated.
  3. Preheat and arrange: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Arrange in a single layer, mostly cut-side down.
  4. Air fry: Cook for 7 minutes, shake the basket, then cook for 5 to 7 minutes more until the centers are tender and the edges are crisp.
  5. Finish: Transfer to a bowl and toss with balsamic glaze and lemon juice. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve.

Notes

Very small loose leaves may crisp sooner; remove them early if needed. Balsamic glaze is added after cooking to prevent burning.
